Next Steps for Potential Editing Clients:

If you're a repeat client, please utilize my booking system to book:

If we've never worked together before, the first step is to submit a sample edit to ensure we’re a good fit.

It’s important for both client + editor to feel comfortable as we’re becoming a team.

 

Sample Edit Requirements:

First Chapter (Maximum 2k)

Double-spaced 

Emailed to cruelinkediting@gmail.com in Word Document Form.

 

Two business days is our turnaround time for sample edits.


 

Once the sample edit is concluded + we’ve decided to move forward…

First-time client deposit IS required. This deposit goes toward your final invoice and is not something I just keep. It is going toward your balance.

Payment in full is required the day PRIOR to your booking date. Payments are non-refundable once made and manuscript is completed. 

Payment plans are an option and can be discussed prior to booking.

All invoices are sent in USD to the email address on file via Square or Acuity scheduling (my booking site).

*We follow The Chicago Manual of Style for editing purposes.

*We utilize Microsoft Word and the “Track Changes” feature.

*A rush fee will be added if the client needs their edited manuscript returned before Victoria’s standard turnaround time.
